A series of themed consumer promotion activities will be launched in Beijing's mall-clustered areas, focusing on the parent-child market and young adults. The city will keep some of the shopping malls open longer to enrich people's night life.

Exhibitions featuring well-known brands and IP, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, EVA, and the Dimoo Aquarium series will be held in Livat Center Beijing, Beijing Daxing Longhu Tianjie Shopping Center, and Beijing APM Shopping Mall. All of these exhibitions will be displayed in Beijing for the first time.

A picture book exhibition will be held in Beijing's Daxing Dayue Chunfengli Shopping Center on July 17. The exhibition on Tatsuya's Dinosaur series will have six themed areas for both parents and children.

In addition, from July 2 to August 29, residents in Beijing will have the chance to enjoy open-air concerts in Xiangyun Town in Beijing's Shunyi district. Live music pubs will be open from 7:30 p.m. to the early morning and feature live band performances.

A variety of themed events in Beijing will bring new experiences to citizens and promote consumer spending. According to a person in charge of Xiangyun Town, since the themed concert launched last Friday, the mall has seen 37.6% more visitors during the weekend at night compared to the previous week, which is also more than the same period of 2019.
