Jacky Chung, the chief representative of Hong Kong Trade Development Council's (HKTDC) Chinese mainland branch, announced on August 25 that the council would curate the Hong Kong Pavilion at this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services.

Themed "Promoting trade and innovation, leading sustainable growth," as many as 20 innovative award-winning products from 15 Hong Kong companies will be on display at the pavilion during the trade fair.

The design concept for this year's Hong Kong Pavilion is "Quantum Leap." By using an open wave structure made of new materials, the design conveys a sense of motion in innovation and technology, as well as Hong Kong's willingness to cooperate with mainland companies.

According to Chung, the Hong Kong Pavilion will use live streaming, interactive, and experiential displays to help visitors understand and experience the unique business advantages of Hong Kong.

At the same time, the pavilion will invite professional guests to share their views on topics such as the Belt and Road initiative, financing, supply chain, technology, green finance, and film and television culture via the live streaming area.

Additionally, seven exhibition sections will showcase the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, financial services, professional services, logistics services, infrastructure and real estate services, innovative technology, and intellectual property rights. These sections look to demonstrate Hong Kong's positioning in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong's various world-class professional services.
