CIFTIS to feature new section on supply chain and business services

The upcoming China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will have a new section for supply chain and business services, a Beijing municipal commerce official said at a media briefing Thursday.
Cai Xiaojun, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, said more than 180 companies and related institutions in supply chain and business services will participate in the new exhibition section, either at the site or through its online platform.
He added that 32 leading enterprises have signed up to participate in the exhibition, and 56% of the exhibitors at the new section will be Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders.
The exhibition section will use new technologies such as 5G and virtual reality to provide attendees with fresh experiences and a variety of online services.
The China International Fair for Trade in Services will take place in Beijing from Sept. 2 to 7.
