The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) kicked off on Thursday in Beijing. This year's CIFITS will feature five summit forums along with 193 thematic forums and promotional activities.

The five forums will be sponsored by the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal government, and the World Tourism Cities Federation, among others.

The summit forums will focus on the high-quality development of trade in services, opening-up and cooperation, new digital ecology, and world tourism revitalization, respectively. The events will conduct in-depth discussions on strategic and structural issues of global trade in services.

Representatives from the OECD, the IMF, the WTO, the World Bank, and other international organizations, as well as executives of Fortune Global 500 companies and multinational enterprises will attend the summit forums and deliver speeches.

In addition, a series of reports on China's trade in services, digital trade, industrial internet, and the building of international consumption center city will be released at the summit forums.
