Their operating revenue during the period totaled 531.49 billion yuan, up 16.9 percent from a year earlier.

Major distilleries saw the output of Chinese baijiu (distilled spirits) rise 9.2 percent year on year to nearly 4.08 million kiloliters in the first seven months, while the output of breweries increased by 7.5 percent, the data showed.
