The 2021 World Robot Conference will be held in Beijing from Sept. 10 to 13. The event will invite more than 300 top scientists from China and abroad, and representatives from international organizations and enterprises. Over 500 products from around 110 companies will be displayed at exhibitions held during the event.

Known as one of the major events of the robot industry, the World Robot Conference has been successfully held five times since 2015. This year's conference will showcase cutting-edge technological achievements and new forms and models of business regarding the robotic industry. It will also promote exchanges and cooperation on the research and application of robotic technologies, and encourage the innovation-driven development of a smart society, said Liang Liang, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, which is also one of the hosts of the conference. He added that the conference will provide an open and inclusive platform for mutual learning among countries around the world.

The 2021 World Robot Conference will feature a series of forums, exhibitions and competitions. Scientists and representatives of international organizations and enterprises will participate in both online and offline forums, and hold exchanges on technological development, international cooperation and the application of robots in emerging industries.

The exhibition area will feature three major sections on industrial robots, service robots and specialized robots. Another area focusing on the innovative development of robots will display cutting-edge technological achievements regarding key components of robots, the industrial chain and major areas related to robotics.

Liang said that medical robots can be used in a wider range of applications as the population ages. Therefore, medical robot with cutting-edge technology will be a highlight at this year's conference.

Online ticket reservations are now available. Visitors are required to present negative nucleic acid test results from within the last 48 hours, wear masks, maintain social distancing and abide by other epidemic prevention and control rules.
