Chinese phone maker Oppo on Monday launched the Reno 7 series in the African market.

Oppo said in a statement released in Nairobi, Kenya's capital, that the mobile device will be available in Kenya at both retail stores and online marketplaces such as Jumia, Kilimall and SkyGarden.

The 4G version will be priced at 42,999 shillings (about $372) while the 5G version will cost consumers $519.

According to the Chinese firm, the first official sales of the OPPO Reno 7 will start on May 5.

The Reno 7 is powered by an ultra-sensing selfie IMX709 sensor that guarantees sharper, clearer and brighter unlimited selfie portrait images.
