China's five-year plan on bioeconomy

Editor's note: The National Development and Reform Commission published a five-year plan on May 10 for the country's bioeconomy sector. The plan, which is the first of its kind in the country, outlines steps to promote high-quality bioeconomic growth and seeks to comprehensively improve China's innovation capacity in relevant fields from 2021 to 2025.
