Smart equipment used for subway management and construction projects in Beijing's sub-center will be on show at the upcoming China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), showcasing the high-quality development of the country's construction sector.
Highlights of the exhibition will include an intelligent subway control system, modular building facilities, and building information modeling (BIM) technologies.
The subway system, developed by Beijing Urban Construction Intelligent Control, ties together the operation of control rooms, customer service centers, fire centers, and ticket booths, allowing staff to make flexible adjustments to subway operations via digital screens.
The blue-collar apartment project in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, also known as Beijing E-Town, is the highest and largest modular building complex in China. The project will also be exhibited at this year's CIFTIS, offering the public a glimpse of the increased construction productivity, reduced waste disposal, and enhanced energy efficiency of modular building facilities.
In addition, state-of-the-art technologies applied in the construction of the Sub-center Theater in Beijing's Tongzhou district, including big data, cloud computing, and BIM, will also be on display at CIFTIS.
The construction and engineering exhibition at this year's CIFTIS will include four sections, namely construction industry, engineering consultancy and education research, construction services, and digital and smart technologies. The exhibition will bring audiences closer to the intelligent development of the construction sector via various interactive equipment.
