Through extensive application of "cloud" technologies, Beijing's film and animation industries have achieved remarkable results in foreign trade, the newly released bluebook on the capital's culture trade has shown.

According to the Blue Book of Beijing International Cultural Trade: Research Report of Beijing International Cultural Trade (2022), the revenue of the capital's cultural industries above designated size reached 1,756.38 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.50%. Among them, the city's three major industries of news and information services, creative design services, and content creation and production accounted for 73.81% of the total.

In 2021, Beijing's exports of cultural products rose 152.07% in 2021 from the previous year to almost $1.94 billion. Its film industry continued to lead the country in terms of market share. Several Beijing-produced films have also won international awards.

In the meantime, the capital's animation industry has maintained a stable growth momentum.

Under the premise of normalized epidemic prevention and control, Beijing's cultural industry has successfully broken geographical and time constraints by introducing innovative ways of using "cloud" technology.
