A Chinese e-commerce platform selling products from the country's 832 counties that have been lifted out of poverty has seen its sales exceed 30 billion yuan (about 4.17 billion U.S. dollars).

As of Oct. 31, over 224,000 agricultural products were available on the website, according to the China CO-OP Group. It is estimated that nearly 3 million rural families have benefited from the platform.

Further efforts will be made to promote the high-quality development of the platform, consolidate the poverty elimination achievements and push for rural vitalization, according to the group.

Launched on Jan. 1, 2020, the platform is under the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Rural Revitalization Administration, and the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives.
