The annual conference of Financial Street Forum 2022 will be held in Beijing from Nov. 21 to 23, drawing nearly 400 industry heavyweights to discuss economic development and financial cooperation amid changes, according to a press conference Thursday.
This year's forum comprises one main forum and four sub-forums. The sub-forums will discuss topics such as the real economy and financial services, global market and financial development, digital economy and financial technology, and governance system and financial stability.
Notably, a group of international heavyweight guests will deliver speeches over the internet, including Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Agustin Carstens, general manager of the Bank for International Settlements, and many other influential people in the financial sector.
This year marks 30 years of development of the Financial Street. An exhibition will be held to present the construction and development of the street over the past three decades.
The forum will also hold two parallel sessions in Singapore and Dubai to discuss the internationalization of the RMB.
