Yanfeng Plastic Omnium (YFPO), a joint venture specializing in auto exterior products, recently started construction on a manufacturing base in the Auto Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Beijing's Huairou district. 

The project, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of October this year, will have the capacity to produce 1 million sets of intelligent automobile exterior decoration assembly products, with an expected annual output value of over 1 billion yuan, creating hundreds of jobs.

According to Sun Yunjun, YFPO Beijing regional general manager, the new factory will cover an area of 18,000 square meters. It will feature large molding equipment with a clamping force of 3,000 tonnes and a large automatic painting production line.

The Auto Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Miaocheng town started operating in March 2021, focusing on attracting environmentally friendly and intelligent modern automobile manufacturers. Currently, over 30 automobile assembly, parts production and processing, logistics and other enterprises have settled in the park.

An official from Miaocheng town said the local government plans to build the town into an intelligent and environmentally friendly manufacturing base for automotive exterior decoration manufacturing, setting a new benchmark for transforming other manufacturing industries in Huairou district.
