Beijing will issue electronic coupons worth 70 million yuan ($10.27 million) in total until March 29 in a campaign that aims to spur spending and upgrade the city's service industry.
Each person can receive a coupon package worth 1,500 yuan per day on online platform Meituan. Furthermore, consumers in Beijing can receive general-use vouchers of 50 yuan for purchases exceeding 100 yuan.
