Three state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Beijing's Future Science City have been selected as world-class specialized and innovative demonstration enterprises, according to a recent announcement by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

China Huaneng Group Cleaning Energy Technology Institute, one of the selected demonstration enterprises, has achieved several firsts and leading innovations in the new energy sector. In February this year, the company tested the first domestically developed portable electric exchange equipment for mining. The equipment provides a mobile charging station that can cover a vast mining area using a single trailer, offering a flexible power supply for large mining buses.

State Grid Information and Communication Industry Group Co., Ltd. is another selected enterprise located in Future Science City. The group has built two national-level scientific research platforms, eight provincial and ministerial-level scientific research platforms, three academicians and experts workstations, and three post-doctoral research workstations. It has also undertaken 38 national-level scientific and technological projects and created the largest Beidou location service network and edge computing power network in the energy industry.

CHN Energy Zhishen Control Technology Co., Ltd. has been recognized as a national-level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprise, representing a new breed of small- and medium-sized businesses specializing in niche markets, possessing cutting-edge technologies, and demonstrating significant potential. The company holds 71 patents and 81 software copyrights, having achieved dozens of "world firsts" and "China firsts."

The rapid growth of these specialized and innovative enterprises is expected to propel Beijing Future Science City toward high-quality development in the advanced energy sector.
