Beijing's industrial enterprises see 2.1% revenue increase in first 4 months

In the first four months this year, the combined revenue of Beijing's industrial enterprises above the designated size hit 832.62 billion yuan (US$117.73 billion), up 2.1% year on year, according to data released by the municipal bureau of statistics on Monday.
The total profit of the city's industrial enterprises amounted to 46.77 billion yuan, down 27.1% year on year. Among 37 industrial categories, 15 of them achieved a profit increase. Specifically, the electricity, heat production and supply industry achieved a total profit of 15.54 billion yuan, up 13% year on year. The automobile manufacturing industry raked in a profit of 11.29 billion yuan, representing a 24.7% year-on-year increase.
