Digital intellectualization can pave the way for enterprises to expand their overseas presence, said Shi An, president of Rockwell Automation Greater China, at a sub-summit focusing on enterprises' digital intellectualization transformation.

He explained that companies stand to gain from digital intellectualization in areas such as preliminary planning, customer targeting, factory establishment, precision marketing, supply chain development, and brand enhancement. By leveraging digital and intellectual empowerment, companies can achieve risk-averse and sustainable overseas expansion with increased precision, Shi added.

Innovation-driven development is crucial for nurturing a digital intellectualization landscape, noted Zhang Weiying, Boya chair professor at the National School of Development at Peking University and director of Peking University Center for Market and Network Economy.

He added that such development requires harnessing the entrepreneurial spirit, stimulating imagination and creativity, and instituting supportive regulations, thus empowering entrepreneurs to draft a blueprint for the future.
