China's bond market issuances hit 6.34 trillion yuan in June

Bond issuances in China totaled 6.34 trillion yuan (892.65 billion U.S. dollars) in June, data from the central bank showed Thursday.

Treasury bond issuances stood at 829.94 billion yuan, while local government bond issuances amounted to 830.23 billion yuan, according to the People's Bank of China.

In June, issuances of financial bonds came in at 810.82 billion yuan, while corporate-credit bond issuances totaled 1.34 trillion yuan.

Issuances of credit-asset-backed securities stood at 26.77 billion yuan, and interbank-deposit certificate issuances hit 2.47 trillion yuan.

By the end of June, outstanding bonds held in custody stood at 150.3 trillion yuan.
