Belt and Road Initiative: A decade of joint construction, win-win cooperation

Editor's note: Since its inception in 2013, the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has offered an open and inclusive platform for cooperation and become a global public good that has been well received by the international community.

Through enhancing policy communication, strengthening global connectivity, reshaping international trade and bolstering the global economy, the BRI has seen extensive participation among countries across the world and major international organizations, injecting fresh impetus into the development of multilateralism.

Here, China.org.cn reviews some of the initiative's key achievements in policy coordination, infrastructure connectivity, trade facilitation, financial integration and people-to-people ties over the past decade.
