Official: China's 5% growth target is supported by solid conditions

China targets economic growth of around 5% in 2024, according to a government work report released Tuesday. Huang Shouhong, head of the report drafting team and director of the State Council Research Office, said at a press briefing that the target is supported by solid conditions.
