A one-stop labor dispute mediation center was unveiled recently in Beijing's Changping district, the first of its kind in the city.
The mediation center was established within the labor dispute arbitration court of Changping district, comprising 38 staff members drafted from various departments, including trade unions and judicial organs.
The center has adopted a streamlined "one-stop" approach, covering policy consultation, dispute mediation, legal aid, review, and resolution coordination, aiming to significantly boost the efficiency of labor dispute resolutions.
According to the labor dispute arbitration court, in response to applications from involved parties, the mediation center promptly intervenes at the filing stage. For parties willing to engage in mediation, each mediation team swiftly engages in a closed-loop process, aiming for expedited mediation and resolution to reduce case processing time.
Since its trial operation last October, the center has successfully mediated 460 cases.
