An oil depot in a petrochemical industry park in Daya Bay exploded this morning.

An explosion occurred at an oil depot in a petrochemical industry park in Daya Bay around 4:10 am Monday morning.

Flames soared more than 100 meters high after an oil leak at the Huizhou Refinery Company of China National Offshore Oil Corp., said a spokesman with the administrative committee of the Dayawan Economic and Technical Development Zone.
