The death toll rose to 13 after three people died in hospital after an accident at Saturday noon when their bus veered off a road and rolled down an eight-meter-high slope in southwest China.
The bus with 35 people aboard careened off the road in Daozhen County, Guizhou Province. Witnesses said a tire exploded right before the accident.
Ten people were killed at the site and a total of 25 people, not previously reported 26, suffered injuries. Three of them died after treatment failed in hospital, the county's publicity officials said.
Now 22 people are being treated at the county's people's hospital and the hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, officials said.
Investigation into the accident is under way.
It is the second serious road accident reported in China on Saturday. In the other accident, six passengers were killed after a bus collided with a truck in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Saturday morning.
About 70,000 people die and 300,000 suffer injuries from road accidents in China each year, according to the Ministry of Public Security.
