China road accident leaves 5 dead, 11 injured

Five people were killed and 11 others injured Thursday after a coach broke through a highway guardrail and turned over in the roadside farmland in southeast China's Fujian province, local police said.
The coach was travelling from Guangzhou, Guandong province, to Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, when the accident occurred at about 2:25 a.m. at a section of a highway in Zhangpu county of Fujian.
Three passengers were killed at the scene and two died later at hospital. The 11 injured are still receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Local police have cleared the scene and the traffic has been resumed.
