Editor's note: Leung Chun-ying was officially declared the winner of the election for the fourth-term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on March 25, 2012. Leung took office on July 1, the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. Cleanly dressed and well built, Leung projects a persona of aloofness, and many believe him to be stern and conforming to stereotypes. However, people who are familiar with him air different views: he is sympathetic and straightforward.
