The Chinese-built SR5 Multiple-Launch Rocket System attracted everyone's eyes at the 2012 European Army Weapons Exhibition held in Paris, France. The system can be distinguished by the fact that it can, at the prototype stage, effectively realize common-frame launching of 122mm and 300 mm rocket missiles. In addition, it can reload ammunition automatically through a telescopic boom.
It can not only suppress exposed surface targets or group targets, but can also accurately destroy important or strategic point targets within the battle zone.
A Korean naval commentary website proclaimed that China's new SR5 Multiple-Launch Rocket System will become “the new star in the weapons market.”
