HK chief executive to visit Beijing

Hong Kong Chief Executive C Y Leung will depart for Beijing on April 25 to visit ministries of the central government, the local government said Tuesday.

On April 26, Leung will visit the Ministry of Commerce and the National Development and Reform Commission.

Accompanying Leung on the visit will be Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Gregory So, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam, Director of the Chief Executive's Office Edward Yau, Director of Information Services Michael Wong, Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Carlson Chan, Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Chan Kin-ping and Assistant Director (Media) Nick Au Yeung.

Leung will return to Hong Kong on the evening of April 26. During his absence, Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam will be acting chief executive.
