Two people died and another person was severely injured after a police helicopter crashed during a training mission in northwest China's Shaanxi Province yesterday, local authorities said.

The helicopter, operated by the public security bureau of Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi, crashed near a village in Lantian County around 6pm, killing two people aboard the helicopter, according to Xi'an police and the county government of Lantian.
