Qihoo 360 Technology, an antivirus software company, invited a Japanese adult movie star, Takizawa Laura, to its annual party, following the online clothing retailer Vancl, which invited another Japanese adult movie star, Sola Aoi, in 2012.

Qihoo also allocated a 2 million yuan vehicle and one million in cash for its employees.

Meanwhile, one unnamed game firm in Shanghai is said to have invited Yui Hatano, also a Japanese adult movie star, attracting netizens' attention.

UC Web, a mobile browser provider, has allocated 10 Audis as year-end bonuses.

The smartphone company Xiaomi Technology has given two employees an eight-day tour of Bali for two.

Li Donglou, CEO of a public relations company in Beijing, said amid intense competition, companies pull out all the stops to attract attention and publicize their brands.

The lavish bonuses at year-end parties can also stimulate and attract talent, the report said.
