It must cause quite the stir in class when your college English teacher happens to be a mixture of movie star beauty and brains. One English teacher from the College of Arts & Sciences, SICNU in southwest China's Sichuan Province, has now gone viral online for her resemblance to Chinese movie stars.

The teacher, surnamed Xiao, attracted a large crowd of students to her class after her photos had become an overnight online sensation. Safety guards had to be sent to the classroom to make sure that the class order would not be disturbed. The college posted a message yesterday afternoon on its official Weibo account to call for respect for the teacher's privacy.

Some students joked, "If I had been so lucky to be in her class, I could have passed my college English test."
