Though he is at 92, he's still enthusiastic for long-distance running and hiking every week.

Wu was accepted by the University of Science and Technology of China two years ago. He also goes to the library every three days. He had been helping to breed animals at the School of Life Sciences at the university for about five years after his retirement in 1980 and entered a local middle school in 2002.

Besides the class, he also has abundant knowledge about bees and shares it with bee keepers. He heard that bee venom might be the cure for an illness when he was young.. He's been doing research on it for more than 30 years. He raised more than 50,000 bees himself.
