A history professor at Xiamen University in southeast China's Fujian Province was suspended yesterday in response to allegations he molested his female students.

Wu Chunming was named in a blog post by a person claiming to be a victim and saying he "enticed" women into having sex with him.

The post, which included a photograph of the professor in bed and partially nude, was allegedly made in support of another woman who claimed in her blog last month to have been molested by a tutor from the history department.
