The photos went viral over the weekend, since being posted to Weibo on Friday, according to state-media news agency, Xinhua.

Many netizens sent well-wishes to the couple to the official Weibo account of the Chongqing Special Police Corp, who released the photos.

Because of the nature of his job, Hou needs to be on duty 24/7, making him unable to take the pictures with his fiancee in a professional studio. Therefore, Hou decided to dress in his police uniform and take a set of romantic photos with his fiancee to capture his ordinary work life.
