Three people have been shot in the downtown area of Qiqihar City, in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. A report from people.com.cn says the incident happened on September 1st.

Eyewitnesses say the shooting was committed by a man on a motorcycle who was wearing a mask. He fled after the shooting. The gun he used appeared to be a remodelled hunting rifle.
A hotel owner, a shopping mall owner, and a street vendor were injured in the shooting. Local police are still investigating.
