Traffic police stopped a truck carrying a helicopter and a tank on a highway in Wenzhou, east China's Zhejiang province on Thursday.

The truck was delivering the helicopter and tank from Shanghai to east China's Fujian province for an exhibition. The vehicles were old military equipment, and have been remodeled with their weapons removed, according to the truck driver surnamed Wang.

It caused a traffic congestion, as drivers slowed down to take a look at the spectacle.

Traffic police suggested covering up the objects when transporting such attention grabbers, to avoid distracting other drivers on the highway.

Wang said he didn't cover up the vehicles because he was worried that it might scratch the paint.
