It's every kid's dream to live in a tree house, but most give up the idea when they grow up. But not for one old man in his sixties.

The old hermit found himself a quiet place and built a tree house to live in in Shunde, Foshan city, Guangdong province, reported xkb.com.cn on Thursday.

His tree house is supported by six trees with an area of over ten square meters and can reportedly bear the weight of twenty people. The small tree house has a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

The man used to be a root carving master and garden designer who won several awards. Now he has withdrawn from society and lives in solitude.
