Li Jun, former vice president of Shanghai Huayi (Group) Company, is being investigated by prosecutors for alleged bribe-taking, according to the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP).

Li has been placed under "coercive measures," which, according to the Criminal Procedure Law, include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest, the SPP said in a Tuesday statement on its website, citing a decision made by prosecutors in Shanghai.
