A civil aviation anti-terrorism research institute has been established at Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on June 19, 2015.

Students will receive comprehensive and rigorous training under the guidance of airline security instructors, security experts and kung fu masters.

About 330 students will be selected from more than 700 candidates who have passed flight attendant interviews and fitness tests.

The school will also start allowing students to major in air flight security this year.
