The clothing store, located on Longchang Street in the downtown area, displayed a large signboard which read "ISIS" on Nov. 18. Due to the high awareness of potential terrorism around the world, local police investigated the store as soon as they received reports.

Chen Hong, owner of the store, is 35 years old and comes from Huizhou City in Guangdong Province. She explained that the suspicious four-letter logo "ISIS" sounds like "yisiyisi" in Chinese which means "a token of gratitude" and insisted that she has no relationship with any extremist group.

Chen was asked to pull down the signboard at 4 p.m. that day to avoid any misunderstanding with the general public, but she was still taken away to the police station. Further investigation showed that she has no relationship with the terrorist organization, and the police said they will continue to keep an eye on the store in the future.

ISIS is the acronym for the terrorist group -- the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has been responsible for a series of terrorist attacks around the world in recent months.
