Police have confiscated over 700 kilograms of methamphetamine, along with nine pistols.

Police have also confiscated 11 luxury cars and cash worth around half million US dollars.

The news came as police said on Thursday they have seized 4.8 tonnes of crystal meth so far this year in Lufeng City.

The Guangdong city is known as a hotbed for production and the trade in drugs.
