Police in Luoyang city, Henan province, announced Tuesday on Weibo that they were "ready" for fugitives' "arrival" at Jacky Cheung's concert in July after three men were nabbed at the pop star's concerts over the past two months.

The first arrest took place in April at a concert by Cheung in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, where police identified the suspect involved in an economic crime with facial recognition cameras. The second arrest was on May 5 at a stadium in Ganzhou, Jiangxi province, again during a Jacky Cheung concert.

Then came the latest arrest in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, at Cheung's concert on Sunday, also by facial recognition technology.

The 56-year-old Jacky Cheung, a well-known Hong Kong singer, has been on a world tour since 2016, and has a huge following in mainland.

With the arrests, Cheung was dubbed by Chinese netizens as "natural enemy of fugitives", with the arrest scenarios at concerts setting off memes circulating on the internet.

Cheung commented on the arrests by jokingly thanking the fugitives for attending his concerts, and said "if you're a crook, you will get nabbed wherever you go."
