Beijing has finished its regulatory draft plan for the urban layout of its sub-center, and the Urban Planning, Land and Resources Commission of Beijing Municipality and the Tongzhou district government released the plan on June 21 for public review.

The public review period will last until July 20, during which the public will be able to access the plan online or in exhibition halls, and give feedback by leaving notes online and at the exhibition halls, as well as by sending letters and emails.

An information graph of the draft layout is presented on the websites, the official Weibo accounts, and the official WeChat accounts of the Urban Planning, Land and Resources Commission of Beijing Municipality and the Tongzhou district government.

Those interested could also visit the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall or the exhibition hall of Lucheng town, Tongzhou district, for detailed presentations of the draft layout. Before visiting, the interested parties could reserve up to three tickets for each valid identification card, while senior citizens, people with disabilities and military personnel could enter the exhibition halls without tickets. Groups of more than 20 visitors should make appointments at least one day in advance.

From June 26 on, people who managed to secure tickets can pick them up with valid identification cards outside the exhibition venues. Visiting hours are between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day except for Mondays.

The authorities will deliberate on the public feedback, and make necessary changes to the planned layout, and consequently the construction of the sub-center, officials said.
