At the 200-day countdown ceremony for the opening of Beijing Expo 2019 on Thursday, three designed tourist routes featuring the expo were pitched to the public.

The ceremony themed "Singing in the New Era" was held in Xiadu Park of Yanqing district, the host venue of the expo.

Topics of the three newly launched tourist routes are: delicacy & photography, rehab & leisure, and parenthood & holiday.

For delicacy & photography, tourists can visit the Badaling Great Wall, taste the local cuisines of Yanqing and enjoy various types of delicacies from around the world while staying at a camping hotel.

The rehab & leisure route is mainly designed for middle-age and elderly tourists, and offers them the opportunity to enjoy the great world of horticulture, step on the ancient bricks of the Great Wall, see old-fashioned houses and experience hot springs.

The parenthood & holiday route invites parents and children to enjoy the beauty of nature at the expo.

Built in around the mountains and rivers, the park of Beijing Expo 2019 has more than 100 gardens with different styles and shapes, spanning 503 hectares of land with tens of thousands of flowers in full blossom.

Tourists can ramble about in the midst of this beautiful, idyllic landscape and enjoy the expo's core architectures, known as the "four pavilions and one center," namely the "Ruyi" China Pavilion, the "Flower Umbrella" International Pavilion, the Botany Pavilion, the Life Experience Pavilion that restores the taste of the countryside, and the Performing Arts Center shaped like a butterfly.

The whole park will integrate mountains, water, forests, fields, flowers and other natural elements sketched along the contours of a Xanadu – a poetic landscape.
