China's chief justice Zhou Qiang on Friday met with a delegation led by Ho Iat Seng, president of the Macao Special Administrative Region's Legislative Assembly.

Zhou, president of the Supreme People's Court, said the policies of "one country, two systems," "the people of Macao governing Macao," and a high degree of autonomy for the Macao SAR have been fully implemented.

"Building of the Belt and Road and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have provided important opportunities for the common prosperity and development of the mainland and Macao," Zhou said. "The people's courts will actively strengthen judicial exchanges and cooperation with Macao."
