Postdoctoral Sci-Tech Service Corps look for opportunities in Hengqin

The launching ceremony for the 60th Cohort of the China Postdoctoral Science and Technology Service Corps’ Hengqin trip was hosted in Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai city, Guangdong province on Dec. 15.

The participants of the cohort, including those from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Beihang University, took part in matchmaking activities in the following two days with the aim to enhance cooperation with local organizations.


Through field trips and matchmaking activities, the cohort looked for cooperative opportunities in the areas of artificial intelligence, IoT, high-performance material, medical equipment development and traditional Chinese medicine.


Attending the ceremony were Qiu Chunlei, deputy director of the overseas students and experts service center, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and deputy secretary-general of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation; Yang Hongshan, deputy director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security; Lian Weiguang, director of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Zhuhai City; and Deng Lianbing, director of Hengqin New Area's postdoctoral administration office.


The cohort’s Hengqin trip was organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Hengqin New Area’s postdoctoral administration office, and the Zhuhai Da Hengqin Technology Development Co, with the support of the Hengqin New Area Administrative Committee and the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Zhuhai City.
