Recently, the second batch of more than 200 products licensed by Beijing Expo 2019 was unveiled and on display at the Beijing Arts and Crafts Museum, as part of the authorized merchandising event of chartered enterprises to promote the boutique licensed products.

A number of environmentally friendly office supply products were on display, such as a highlighter made out of two mineral water bottles, a pencil made of recycled newspaper, and folders made of recycled materials. The products impart the expo's theme of "green life and beautiful home."

Also exhibited at the museum were arts and crafts and other decorative items. One featured piece was a pair of twin vases named the "Four-Season Auspicious Flower Vases" with patterns to convey wishes for health and family prosperity. Another exhibit was an imperial jade seal consisting of two seals in the shapes of a dragon and a lion in the clouds, endowing the piece with auspicious meanings.

As the upcoming Chinese lunar year is the Year of the Pig, the exhibition featured a boccaro teapot with a well-wishing name that is also a wordplay on "pig" in Chinese. The teapot is shaped like a bead, with a spout stretching naturally from its gourd-like ampulla.

At the authorized merchandising event, 15 companies including China Post Beijing Company, China Gold Coin Incorporation, and Bank of Beijing received licenses and joined the second batch of the expo's franchised enterprises.

"As a licensed manufacturer and dealer of the expo, Beijing Post will put forward in stages three types of postal products with different designs, including cultural derivatives, souvenirs and customizations," said a person in charge at the company. "We will also issue special envelopes nationwide on the 100-day countdown of the expo."
