Tianjin will push out six city-level night-time tourism blocks by the end of this year. With this initiative, a further perfect layout will be formed with complete functions in the following years.

Night Tour on Haihe River

It makes for an impressive experience to cruise on the river with colorful lights dotting the elegant buildings with various styles.

The Haihe River cruise features canal elements, such as canal food, canal cultural parenting class and canal art exhibition. There are also food experts invited during the cruise to open an authentic "canal cuisine". New canal taste is expected to be launched against the agenda this year.

According to the statistics, in the past 10 years, Tianjin Haihe cruise has received more than 4.5 million visitors. This year, Tianjin will put 17 cruise ships into operation.

After the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the sailing of the Haihe River Cruise, Tianjin upgraded the Night Tour on Haihe River allowing tourists to explore Tianjin with the guide sharing stories and changes that take place in the city.

Tianjin Eye

As a national AAAA scenic spot, Tianjin Eye, the worlds only Ferris wheel built on a bridge, has drawn numerous visitors from home and abroad as a land-mark building of river culture-rich city.

Italian Style Town

Italian Style Town is in the north bank of the Haihe River and is filled with bars playing blues and jazz melodies.

Founded in 1902, 130 buildings gathered here including the celebrity's former residence, and the 100-year Tianjin industrial exhibition hall. As the only Italian-style building complex in Asia, it has been also listed in national AAAA tourism sites that integrate tourism, culture, leisure, entertainment and sports.

Western historical architectures 

Tianjin is home to the best preserved western historical architectures in the culture, about 2,000 pieces varying in style from Gothic to Renaissance. They were designed and built by businesspeople from around the world in the late 19th and early 20th century, dubbed as "a kaleidoscope of western architecture".

Golden Street

As one of the 10 most famous commercial streets in China, the 2100 meter long Golden Street is a fashionable commercial complex for shopping. Here people can witness the integration of the ancient with the modern where the historical grand architecture serves as a modern shopping center.

Tianjin bookstore

Differing from the bustling air in the modern evening life, the Tianjin Branch of the Guangzhou Book Center being brightly lit presents a quiet atmosphere. It covers an area of 5,000 square meters and stores 25,000 varieties of 250,000 books, the second most in Tianjin.

The bookstore serves as a place for people to enjoy culture and leisure by focusing on reading, leisure, creative life, parent-child experience, art exhibition and other fields.
