The industrial art parallel session of the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opened in the Art Square at the International Art Design Center in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on May 10.

Specially-invited distinguished guests participating into the opening ceremony included Lv Manni, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Luohu District Committee, Zhuang Ruining, deputy district mayor of the Luohu district government, Chen Guang, vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Luohu District Committee, and Xue Jiang, chief of the Luohu Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau.

An international procurement fair was held on the sidelines, at which a batch of industrial art enterprises from Shenzhen signed contracts with foreign purchasers.

The International Art Design Center has planned 11 activities for the overall event clustered in the three fields of cultural trade, innovation exhibition and cultural experience so as to promote international trade, exchanges and to spread Chinese culture. These activities are also expected to provide Shenzhen residents with a good opportunity to appreciate the charms of Chinese industrial arts.
