The Luohu Administrative Service Center started to handle affairs related to goods transportation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong on June 11. The move is expected to improve the efficiency of procedures and enhance Luohu's business environment.

A ceremony was held on the day to mark the reform. During the ceremony, Li Kaifeng, chief of the Shenzhen Traffic and Transport Bureau's Luohu branch, handed a letter of authorization, related to 47 matters, to Liu Chuwen, head of the Luohu Administrative Service Data Management Bureau.

In the administrative service center, procedures that are related to goods transportation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, which used to be complicated and involve multiple departments, can now all be finished at one desk.

Among the 47 matters, including the issuance of road transport licenses for commercial and non-commercial dangerous goods, 31 can now be finished immediately if all necessary materials are ready.
