Participate in our quiz and you could be one of the 1,000 lucky ones to win free tickets to the ongoing Beijing International Horticultural Expo held in Yanqing, northwestern Beijing, said local officials on June 27.

Surrounded by rolling hills and dotted by picturesque lakes, Yanqing is reputed as downtown Beijing's backyard garden and summer resort for nearby residents. It boasts a forest coverage rate of 59.28 percent and has ten forest parks including Yudu Mountain resort and Songshan forest park.

The district initiated its campaign to build itself into a national forest district two years ago. To enhance people's awareness and participation in this campaign, Yanqing launched an online and offline quiz on forest city construction on June 27.

Participants who win full score in the quiz will be entered the lucky draw and 1,000 people will earn three types of free tickets including a family package for three, couple package for two and one ticket.

In addition, Yanqing encouraged primary students and kindergarten kids to get involved through planting palm trees at home and at school, a way to help children go back to nature and experience the joy of planting. Students who record different period of palm tree planting will also have the chance to enter the lucky draw to win free tickets to the horticultural expo.
